Central Maine Orthopaedics has partnered with Rumford Hospital to provide specialty orthopaedic consultation services two days per week in the Rumford Hospital Specialty Clinic.

The surgeons from Central Maine Orthopaedics specialize in treatment of injuries and diseases of your body's musculoskeletal system. This complex system includes your bones and soft tissue including joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.

The course of treatment generally includes:

  • Diagnosis of your injury or disorder
  • Treatment with medication, exercise, surgery or other treatment plans
  • Rehabilitation by recommending exercises or occupational or physical therapy to restore movement, strength and function
  • Prevention with information and treatment plans to prevent injury or slow the progression of diseases

While all Central Maine Orthopaedic surgeons are familiar with all aspects of the musculoskeletal system, all of the orthopaedic surgeons practicing at the Rumford Hospital Specialty Clinic specialized in one or more areas including:
