The Consolidated Inpatient Unit construction project started January 2008 and is intended to finish November/December 2008.

The general contractor for the project is Ledgewood Construction, Portland, Maine and the architect is Freeman, French, and, Freeman, Burlington, Vermont.
 
The size of the project is new 18,000 gross square feet with 3,100 gross square feet renovated area.
 
The new wing will include an operating room, 16 private rooms, two semi private rooms, two labor/delivery rooms and one post delivery room.
