Rumford Hospital volunteers serve in many capacities from filing and shredding, to hosting public events, to comforting babies.  Volunteers must make the same commitment to confidentiality that is made by staff members and, when first becoming a volunteer, must attend the regular hospital orientation program.  The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary also accepts volunteers in its Coffee Shop.  There, volunteers help serve breakfast and lunch and act as cashiers.  For more information about becoming a volunteer at Rumford Hospital, call Human Resources at 369-1042 or Community Relations and Development at 369-1143.
