Rumford Hospital is a clinical training site for the Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions.  The CMMC CNHP program at the Rumford Mexico University College provides an ideal setting for these students, many of whom are non-traditional.  Nurses who train at Rumford Hospital often return to work here following graduation.

The Rumford Hospital Radiology Department also hosts students who are interested in the breadth of experience they can gain in a rural hospital.
